Why Choose Us?
We Specialize In All Forms Of A Criminal Defense Practice
Vincent J. Martinelli, Esq. has become an expert in criminal defense over the course of almost three decades of trial practice. When you are being investigated or accused of a crime, you should want only the very best counsel by your side. That counsel should be many things: a friendly face, an affable personality, a skilled negotiator, a ferocious litigator, and a lawyer with a wealth of both legal and common-sense knowledge. It is not enough to simply negotiate a plea as sometimes trials need to occur. And also, it is not enough to only be able to litigate a case at trial. Sometimes, non-trial negotiations and pleas need to occur. Finally, appeals of certain lost issues should only be made by the best. In short you need a multi tooled advocate on your side.
Areas Of Expertise
Vincent J. Martinelli, Esq.
Vincent J. Martinelli, Esq. is an undergraduate of the prestigious New York University in Manhattan, (’88) and has a Jurist Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School (JD, ’92). Vincent began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Office of the District Attorney, Kings County under the legendary Kings County District Attorney Charles J. Hynes. Soon thereafter while at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office he was hand-picked and promoted to the Homicide Bureau in order to specialize in the most high profile of cases. After almost four years and hundreds of successful cases he decided to start a family and take a more financially stable position in private practice. Along with one partner, he founded a small law firm in the financial district of lower Manhattan. In 1999, he sold his practice and moved his law office to Staten Island to be closer to his home and to be more easily accessible to his contacts and clientele. However, clients and corporations from all over the country travel to retain him at his Staten Island practice. Finally, after maintaining his practice in the office building of one of Staten Island’s top-rated Real Estate firms, he moved his business to The Corporate Park of Staten Island at 900 South Avenue. Presently, he maintains that “A+” office space at The Executive Suites at The Park centrally located to all and right off of Staten Island’s two main highways with plenty of parking.
